I tried this trick out today. and it worked beautifully. I used my NYX Mon Cherie palette, which doesn't have the best pigmentation. it turned out beautiful. Thank you so much for your awesome videos.

This is great...I've always always set my eye primers with powder all over the lid and have struggled to get poppin color, so now I know why! Thank you so much Melissa!

If you do get that hard pan on your favorite blush, eyeshadow or highlighter from fix plus, water, oil or foundation from your fingers or brush, you can simply place a piece of scotch tape over it and lightly rub your finger over it a few times then pull the tape off. Don't scratch or you can remove any pretty embossing. 🙁 Do this once or twice until the hardened product is removed.

If I don't set my eyelid with a powder the eyeshadow just skips and gets very choppy ;(

me too but a quick tip let the primer dry for a min and if u must only set with powder in the crease

Well set just as she said from crease to brow bone. And for the lid use packing technique to get an even pigment

it's because the primer isn't dry or you have oily lids. either let it dry for a minute, or just get the lightest layer of powder from crease to brow bone, don't go all out with it, and use the pack then blend technique with bright colors. I just take my brush and stamp it along where I want it (in the crease) and then take whatever transition color I am using to blend it out so I don't get the skipping, and the pigmentation is there.
