My favorite 1 shadow look is using Nutty by wet n wild...and it's like .99!!! Buts amazing and blending it into the crease, I swear it looks like I used more than 1 color...

Another eyeshadow thats great for this is Club by MAC. It always looks like you applied a separate crease shade. Its definitely one of my favorite one and done eyeshadow looks.

I'm going to try this technique with a different eye shadow every day this week! I've done this type of thing with Bitten from Makeup Geek and Realgar from the ABH Modern Renaissance palette. I'll report back with what works and what doesn't for me if anyone is interested!

Day 1: ABH Modern Renaissance's Antique Bronze. It blends into a nice brown in the crease. Sooo pretty.

Day 2: MAC Coppering. It's more of a statement because it's bright. It's really multidimensional and packs on well on the outside of the eyes. Blends into a soft pink in the crease. I'll try a matte tomorrow I think.

Day 3: MAC Sketch. Not a fan. It was more work than using multiple eyeshadows. Day 1 still winning.

Day 4: Makeup Geek Desert Sands. Blended super easily but harder to pack on the lid. I have an interview so I wanted something really soft and barely there. This was really pretty and subtle. I have olive skin so the greenish hue looks really natural on my skin.

Love this look and I love using just one eyeshadow. I have been using the new Chanel matte quad to do my look. They've made it a permanent part of the line, I'm so happy because in my opinion it is a must have eyeshadow palette and I will purchase a backup. I can't wait for your updated individual eyelashes tutorial. Thanks so much for all the great looks and tutorials!!

I've been using Burberry Midnight Brown or Mulberry shadow (which are warm tones) to do the whole one shadow look for years and they work so well.

Very pretty! I love using makeup geek "homecoming" shadow with this technique just for a quick look which is also a taupey cool tone brown, also mac "arena" which is a warm beigey pink satin...and any fluffy brush to give it a soft look.

i tried this with a redish matte shadow from a chanel all matte quad (2016 fall collection) and turned out very nice! that little quad is life... they are matte shades but have a very very slight sheen to them, works amazing😉
