There are 3 levels of carvings:
Beginners Level - you will learn how to apply quick and simple designs to the different fruits and vegetables.
Intermediate Level - you will progress onto more detailed carving designs for larger centrepiece displays
Advanced Level - How to carve Roses and more flowers. After you master all these flowers - you can apply to larger Fruit & Vegetable such as Watermelon and Pumpkin.

A paring knife - I bought it from the knife shop. A yellow handle knife you can buy it on eBay - calls a bird's beak thai fruit carving knife. Thank you very much :)

this is amazing, but wont the apple become brown really quickly? or do you paint over the white pieces of apple with lemon juice? (would that even work?) thank you for another amazing tutorial!

Would it be appropriate to have a bowl of lemon juice available to dip each section and exposed parts into to keep it from discolouring? Or is the saltwater better for that purpose? I'm concerned the salt would make the apple taste strange when eaten.

Some people like to use a mixture of salt and water - not very salty. To me I only rinsed it under cold tap water. Thank you :)
