This has been my issue for years my 808s are inconsistent and I don't have a sub at the house to check it hopefully this can help me get the bang I need. Mind you I've produced for Kodak Black, Jt Money, Sean Paul of the Youngbloodz and more and I still need help from time to time. Great info bro

good but i normally role off a lot of the high end and use some other plugins to brighten the 808 and keep it leveled , it's a good technique but i personally wouldn't do that

If you don’t have the smack attack you can do the same thing with a stock limiter such as a fruity limiter in FL

Fruity limiter is not a transient shaper, it's a limiter/compressor, it doesn't do the same thing

The tutorial is dope, nonetheless something I do not understand... Why did you roll off the low end at the end of your chain? I mean wouldn´t it be better to do that first? Otherwise you add all the low end boosting and transient shaping to these unnecessary 0-15hz too?
