〈HONG KONG STYLE SAUSAGE ROLLS〉
✎ Ingredients for 6 servings:
Strong flour 240g
Sugar 20g
Salt 3g
Instant dry yeast 3.5g
Milk 115g
Egg 50g
Unsalted butter 20g
Sausage 6pcs
Toppings:
Egg
White sesame
✎ Suggested fermentation time:
First fermentation 30 minutes
Second fermentation 40-45 minutes
✎ Baking information:
Bake at 190°C for 18-20 minutes
◍ Notes:
- The amount of water needs to be adjusted according to water absorption of flour, weather and humidity of the day
- In hot weather, use lukewarm / cold water or cold milk or eggs; please use warm liquids in cold weather
- Fermentation periods are for reference only,please adjust according to humidity and temperature on your baking day
- The baking temperature and time are for reference only, please adjust according to the specifications of the oven

This was very easy to follow. For a first time baker this was excellent, very well written with instructions Much appreciated These are my favorite things ever. Have to spend at least $2-3 for just 1 over here usually at Annie's, the restaurant that sells these So I was ecstatic to make these myself

La hice hoy y la verdad salio muy bien. Seguí todos los pasos, lo que más se me complico fue la parte de la manteca, pero con poquisima harina en mis manos salió bien. Se inflaron bastante y estaba DELICIOSO. Por fuera quedó crocante y por dentro una nube. Gracias por la receta 😊.

Is strong flour all purposes flour or King Arthur bread flour? Do I use one pack of yeast? Can I use monkfruit sugar instead?

Hi, strong flour = bread flour (high gluten flour). I do not know how much per pack but I used 3.5g (around 1.4% to flour). And yes you can substitute sugar with monk fruit sugar. Thanks!

@lungbibawy 加了湯種的麵包令麵包增加濕潤度,能讓麵包在之後一兩天保持鬆軟🥰

Baking these right now. Kneeded the dough for almost 20mins after adding butter and at no point did it ever become as smooth and nice as your did in 6-8 mins ... gave up and just rolled it up and kept aside for fermentation now. What could i have done wrong?

This is sad to hear it! But could you bake the bread successfully in the end? Probably different brands of flour absorb differently, or even weather and humidity affect the kneading. Next time, you may try to not add all the liquid at one time, add them gradually until enough. 😊

@@littlehandskitchen Thank you for getting back to me. I did bake the bread.. it was kind of successful but wasn't at all as soft as yours. They became pretty soon after they cooled. But i will definitely give another try some later.

@@kimminhas4669 did you use a stand mixer? Also. use active yeast and activate it with sugar and warm milk.
