*RECIPE* _Cookie_ ¾ cup granulated sugar 2 tablespoons butter-flavored shortening 2 tablespoons butter, room temperature 1 egg, room temperature ¼ cup buttermilk, room temperature ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract 1¾ cups all-purpose flour ½ teaspoon baking powder ½ teaspoon baking soda ⅛ teaspoon salt _SUGAR CINNAMON MIXTURE_ ½ cup brown sugar ½ tablespoon cinnamon 2 tablespoons butter, melted _CREAM CHEESE FROSTING_ 2 oz. cream cheese, room temperature 2 tablespoons butter, room temperature ½ cup + 2 tablespoons powdered sugar 2-3 teaspoons milk (may need more or less to achieve desired texture) vanilla extract, splash *Refrigerate for about an hour - overnight* *Cut into slices* *PREHEAT to 350* *Bake for 10-12 minutes*

Child. Let me tell you, my mom had me in n the kitchen when I was pribably eight or so. She was there to watch me but yeah, go ask an adult to watch and go bake your heart out. You'll be happy you did trust me.

Hello! Love the cookies. My dough kept breaking apart as I was rolling it. I was able to put back together with flour. Also my dough didn't seem as think as yours. I wonder if I didn't have enough flour or if I rolled it out too much.
