I have a lot of those clear pebbles that I used to put in vases with flowers. Great way to use some of them again. TFS!

you could glue small magnets on the backs and make them fridge magnets. :) OR glue onto a large paperclip and use them that way too!

Hi! This was really timely. I have a large pack of glass disks in various sizes. They are from an old Tim Holtz collection over ten years ago. I was going to toss them. Now I am inspired to make word stones or other embellishments. Thank you!

Hi! I just wanted to say I love your voice! so upbeat and fun!! I too have these glass things. I bought them to do the shattered glass thing, where you heat them up in a pot and then dunk in ice? was going to make rings with some ring blanks. LOL! I did a few but never got around to making the ring. Oh well! Thank you so much for sharing this tutorial! Maybe I'll actually try it and FINISH something for a change :-)

I had some pebbles like this but they deteriorated. Probably because I used them in water with flowers, then stored them dry for years. Great video, super idea!

Hi Carolyn. How I relate to you. Anyhow I got out my pebbles (they aren't as old as yours) But I had an idea of which I always think mine are so original until after I do something and then see everyone else is doing it too. So just in case you already have thought of this. (and I haven't thought this completely through.)I have tons of bottle caps. I actually made a crossword puzzle and glued them to a book cover. Great kids project. Seems to me you can write the letter and glue to inside of cap then glue down the pebble on top which magnifies it. The pebble doesn't cover the whole inside of the cap but you could do something around it. I am going to experiment but let me know if you have done this. I love your videos!!!

I am very thankful I subscribed to your videos!!! I always enjoy listening to what you share. I too have some of those clear pebbles I haven't used. Was wondering if you could post the source of your word stencil. I would like to purchase those. I absolutely love do Gelli Art and found that I even enjoy making my own stencils out of recycled styrofoam containers and stamping with them. Thank for inspiring me to create!!!!

Why not just stencil on the background paper and save the hassle of stenciling on the back of the stone?
