4lb Yukon gold potatoes
4 garlic cloves
2 tbsp chives
8 tbsp unsalted butter (1 stick)
1 cup milk
½ cup heavy cream
1/8 tsp nutmeg
salt and black pepper to taste
vegetable oil

Do u apply salt to mashed potatoes

When you boil them, you can add some. But in this episode, i didn't. I added salt when i was adding other ingredients.
