These are amazingly easy to make. Can omit the sugar (or just lessen it) and make them more savory - brush with butter, garlic and parley and they are perfect rolls with spaghetti. I didn't weight the dough when dividing the dough into the 12 pieces, I just eyeballed it and it worked perfectly. Oh and by the way, when the dough had been kneaded for about 5-6 minutes it feels like "play-dough" a little heavy, non sticky and fairly easy to shape. They do fluff up a lot during baking. Definitely a keeper recipe.! And using bread flour makes a big difference.

These are great rolls and so easy to make. The temp. of the milk should be between 100 and 110 F

I'm so happy I came across this recipe on Pinterest this morning, I'm not much of a baker, but I followed the directions & the rolls came out lovely & fluffy, so yummy. I almost got rid of our crockpot/slow cooker as we hadn't used it in ages, but I think this recipe will be on high rotation from now on, thank you for the very clear instructions. BTW, I kneaded it by hand, took a few minutes, but so worth it for the yummy results.

This dough recipe came out perfectly not sticky not dry. I don’t have much success with baked goods in the crock but trying it out now. It always says two hours and mine are always still dough and burnt on bottom. So we’ll see if this goes good for me

Dear... Do you pre heat the slow cooker first or just put in the dough while the slow cooker still cool?
@arlenea.13665 жыл бұрын
@@akiraakish5130 I'll answer for him since he didn't respond. No, you do not have to preheat the slow cooker. Just do what the guy show you, then turn on your slow cooker. Good luck and enjoy!

If you put the honey in the same bowl you just poured the butter out of it won't stick. Spraying the bowl with Pam works, too.

What is the size, capacity of your slow cooker?
@leonardozobaran22585 жыл бұрын
LSM, when you say “high” it’s WITH pressure, right? Because the instant pot has “high” and “low”, both settings are pressure cooking. The one without pressure is called “normal”. Please let me know cause I want to make these rolls. They look delicious! Thanks
@KiarraSari5 жыл бұрын
Leonardo zobaran he is using a slow cooker. Those aren’t pressurized. Hope that helps b

Isn't broiling where the heat is above whatever is being cooked, and grilling is over the heat source on a grate or grill

When I substitute almond milk in bread I add a tbl of either Greek yogurt or sour cream to replace some of the fat you lose with the almond milk. --2 cents.

Modern math....104 / 2 = 52 not 67....still looks good though
@miavos36105 жыл бұрын
@Drew Hunter he said 104 divided by 12. He wanted to make 12 buns from the dough, so he weighed it and got 104. But what did he mean? Anyway, 104 divided by 12 equals 8.7 so I'm not sure what happened here.

So basically room temperature milk?

This makes no sense if I have to bake it for 2 minutes Why not just bake the whole thing for 15-18 more minites and save an hour ?
@teambeining6 жыл бұрын
bigunity This method saves the proof/rise-knead-rise process. That is always a gamble in my house.
@scottab1404 жыл бұрын
You broil the butter dinner roll to make a crust. A smart thing to do is butter a second time aft er the crust is made. I suggest allowing the dinner roll 3-4 hours to rise before baking or using a slow cooker for a soft texture.

temperatures?? in the slow cooker?? in the oven>> wasted my time watching half a recipe
@penelopepines7356 Жыл бұрын
All that equipment t and you don't have a thermometer to give a correct temp of the milk for the yeast..... or maybe I am mistaken and JUST RIGHT is a setting on the thermometer 🌡
