Aren’t silicones unhealthy?

@MariaVelasquez-wz4cj No, they aren't or else they wouldn't be in the product. They are an amazing ingredient that has multiple benefits like smoother shinier hair, reduces frizz, and protects from heat styling. Some can even penetrate the cuticle to strengthen the strand and reduce breakage. Things that can't be found in products with purely 'natural' ingredients. They also get washed off with every shampoo.

I was about to search to see if there was a recipe for this... coz it’s exactly what I’m wanting to try making next!

Also, have you found the large page of places to shop on my website? Those ingredients will likely be available at better price points and fresher from a dedicated DIY supplier rather than Amazon.

The formulation is calculated to make 25g, which is just shy of 30mL (1fl oz). 0.3% is 0.003, not 0.03, so you're off by a factor of 10 with your math. 0.003 x 2.5 = 0.0075g-10x less than I used as the batch size (2.5) is 10x smaller. 10% (0.1) x 25 = 2.5g C12-15 alkyl benzoate, as you see in the formulation. Hope that clears things up :)
