I looked in creative and sorry no there is no way to remove it but you can change the color to White,Black or Grey to try to blend in, but you can turn off [Visible for class] what this will do is, all the other players will not be able to see it but you will.

It worked for me but the it’s not shooting it the animation and everything works but not shooting so u know why.

Like when you try to shoot does it swap to your pickaxe, if so you have to sprint jump then slide it's a glitch

There is nothing wrong with the settings, I was playing my map with the double Pump and it doesn't work because Fortnite has another broken creative bug, this usually happens after updates, hopefully this will get patched.
