Chilli Con Carne
1 onion
4 Cloves Garlic
1 Red pepper
3 Tbps Oil
1 tsp Cinnamon
1 tsp Smoked Paprika
1 tsp ground Cumin
1tsp Chilli Powder
500g Lean Minced Beef/ Ground Beef
2 heaped tbps Tomato Paste
400g Chopped Tomatoes
1 Beef Sock Cube
300ml Boling Water
1 can 450g Pre Cooked Kidney Beans
2 Squares Dark Chocolate (optional)

I have never commented on a food video before, but, wow, I followed the recipe, minus, the optional chocolate, with half portion size of spices for 250g of mince, (I did use the same amount of garlic though, I always use more than a recipe says!) and the balance is perfect, didn't have to add anymore of the other spices. Also, this is thee most stress free recipe I have ever followed...thank you, to you, Cooking Aunt Jay, your chilli con carne is delicious.

Just done this Chili for the 2nd time. I extra imported and used smoked Paprika. I feel like a guest at home as this is not from "my kitchen". Thanks Jay.

I just made this tonight, I was blown away at how full of flavour it is. It was too hot for me at first but the more I ate the less hot it got. Thanks Aunt Jay I can't wait to try more of your recipes 😊❤ Oh, and, what's the reason for the dark chocolate? I didn't have any, does it change the taste?

You’re very welcome Melawyn so happy you got to try it out. Glad the heat got better for you , I love my spices . The chocolate balances the flavour of the chilli and helps with the acidity from the tomatoes. 😊💕
