I agree. 'Eco-printing' really should be called 'Nature printing' . It is printing with natural materials but the process itself is not always very 'eco' friendly. A lot of 'eco-printing' tutorials encourage you to drive around collecting flowers, bundle them up with plastic and then heat them for a long time (often with methane gas). Instead, I'd encourage anyone to collect (or grow) what is in your local area, bundle with other plain fabric or waxed paper as a barrier, and try to use electricity to heat. You can also try solar dyeing / printing, which is a much less precise process but can yield interesting results. Good luck :)
