I’ve had this in Bhutan, And oh man! Bomb flavours to go with steamed rice. Every restaurant has their own way of making it in Bhutan but every other place is worth ordering for.

You can also use milk instead of cheese if u don't have cheese.. Pour milk instead of cheese..let it thicken..it's consistency would be like cheese...

Fyi in Bhutan we have something called as rotten cheese which by the name makes it sound disgusting but when put in ema datshi it's really yummy😊😊😊😊

Don't try rotten cheese it smells disgusting Other than that use any kind of cheese it could be cow's yak's or buffalo's

The authentic recipe demands cheese made from yak that smell like rotten.. But u can also use normal cheese, Any cheese.. Or you can also use creamy milk

I live near Bhutan. So I eat it most of the times and there are many varieties of Datshi. I personally like the mushroom Datshi . According to me you have to add a little milk. Still the way you made was also good 👍🏻. I love your videos 🥰🥰

mans if u add potato it's kewa datshi. if u add mushroom it's mushroom datshi. you can add any vegetable but same recipe. it taste awesome.

It's incomplete, it requires churpi( A type of cheese found in Tibet and Himalaya region , including Sikkim and nepal ) it's made curing butter milk

Still no dish can beat Indian dishes🫡. People are getting blind today . Just bcse of celebrity🙄 they eat anything and the whole Indians start talking and making about that dish. we have lots of spices and more option than y should we eat this😢. It depends on type of chilli you use. If you use bhutanese big green chilli's then it's not spicy and spicy level is medium. However ,if you use small size chilli then it will be spicy but overall the taste is perfect 👌.
