Snails are sooooo good and you can just get them at the beach and then pan fry them and eat them with like sauce with like lime, salt, pepper, and a bit of chili flakes. A+

Easy, just think of it as shellfish like a mussel, they even taste and look very similar to them.

Looks amazing. Love me some escargot. If you like thai food, bring a can to your favorite Thai restaurant and ask them to put them in an order of Panang curry, you wont regret it! Alternatively, escargot cut up in small slices / chunks makes an out of this world pizza topping. Beats the hell out of some salty ass sardines any day!

i was try snail in indonesia floating market im bandung... i'm not really like the snail,the sauce was different tho,maybe because the sauce is different? maybe if it like chili with garlic i think i will like it i like blood cockle even it was only boil with minimal ingredient (garlic,lemon grass and other)

Heaven, but seriously I think calamari would be a good comparison though the texture when you chew is different, I would recommend anyone try it, I really enjoyed it with fresh bread and a glass of ale, I know wine is more traditional but I loved it. 9.2/10

The rock salt is just to keep the shell stable and upright while you broil them, if they fall over the snail butter runs out. You can also use specially designed snail trays that have indentations for the snail shells.
