How to Make FAST and EASY Puff Pastry Cinnamon Rolls
I started playing around with this recipe during my 2nd trimester when I was really craving cinnamon 24/7. Once I got sick of making the dough so often, I thought why not try store bought puff pastry dough! And voila! I am now hooked on these! Hope you all enjoy them as much as I do because they are so darn easy to make!

📌INGREDIENTS:
Filling:
◾️1 cup brown sugar, light or dark works fine
◾️1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
◾️1 tbsp cinnamon
◾️1/2 tsp vanilla
Frosting:
◾️4 oz cream cheese, room temp
◾️3 tbsp unsalted butter, room temp
◾️1 cup powdered sugar
◾️1 tsp vanilla
◾️3-4 tbsp whole milk
◾️2 puff pastry sheets (1 box has 2) or use 1 sheet and cut frosting/filling in half
Bake at 350 degrees for 13-15 minutes

Wow, those cinnamon rolls look great. I never would have thought to use puff pastry dough! I agree that 1 Tablespoon of cinnamon would be good, but I could also see 1.5 Tablespoons being good if you love cinnamon. Thanks for pointing out that it is best to add the powdered sugar a bit at a time. Wow, those look great. I don't think I would need to worry about microwaving them since I wouldn't have leftovers, haha. Thanks for sharing!

Recipes with Resa Hey Resa! I have never tried them frozen because the puff pastry I don’t think freezes well after messing with it :)

Using dental floss to cut them will do a much neater job and you’ll have less work reshaping them. Can’t wait to try them!!

@@SarasBites Yep. Just make light marks on the top then slide underneath and criss cross over the top and you’ll get the perfect slice every time!!

Chill the roll before cutting. Then you keep your round shape. I brushed my roll with egg wash before chilling in fridge.

Putting frosting into a ziplock baggie and snipping the corner is a much less messy application. 😊

I just bought a cinnamon coffee cake that was beautiful to look at but eating it turned into a wad of dough in my mouth. I found this flakey dessert and will try it. My childhood memory of a pecan cinnamon coffee cake has a dough full of air holes. What is the recipe for that dough?

How far in advance can you prepare these before putting them in the oven??

I wouldn’t do more than a day in advance and if you do, stick them in the fridge :)

Thanks! I made them but I think I put too much brown sugar sauce in it and it all leaked out and caramelised and stuck them all together! Also it took ages in the oven to crisp up but they were still nice and the glaze is delicious!!
