In this episode of In The Kitchen With Matt, I will show you how to make fruit dip. This easy amazing homemade fruit dip recipe is incredible and only requires three ingredients, although you can even make it with only 2 ingredients. It is a fairly popular/common recipe and I can see why it is so tasty. This awesome fruit dip from scratch is perfect for family meals, gatherings, picnics, etc. If you like eating strawberries, grapes, bananas, pineapple, etc. kick up those tastebuds a notch with this fruit dip. I love making little fruit kebabs to serve with it. If I can do it, you can do it. Let's get started.

Thanks for the recipe. I remember the pastor's wife at a church I used to go to would make this wonderful fruit dip. She said it was really easy to make and used cream cheese and orange juice, but she never gave us the recipe. This looks like her fruit dip and makes sense.

Thanks Matt I always wondered about this. In the grocery store you can get some that are pink /red in colour. I have “heard” they use jello crystals to flavour it. Do you know if that is true?

Hi Cindy! No I don't know if they use jello crystals to flavor it or something else. But jello crystals would make sense! :) Or maybe even something like a kool-aid powder.

Hi Susan!! :) Yes you can totally make it with marshmallows. Take one to two cups of marshmallows and about 1 tablespoon of corn syrup. Put them in a microwave safe bowl and use bursts of 20 seconds in the microwave until melted and combined. There you go homemade marshmallow creme. :)

What is the alternative to the Marshmallow cream?

Hi Mariam, you can use normal marshmallows about 2 cups worth and melt them along with about a tbsp. of corn syrup (liquid glucose). Using either the microwave or on the stove top.
