Learn how to turn your Milk Chocolate cake decorations Gold . In this tutorial I also show you how to make your own Chocolate Egg perfect for the Easter celebrations or just to be used as a delicious cake topper.
The gold is a homemade edible paint, that evaporates and does not effect the taste of the chocolate in any way, it simply leaves behind the stunning Gold Metallic colour its simple to make using just two ingredients. You could also use Silver, Rose Gold or even Copper Metallic colours using the same method to suit your colour theme for whatever celebration cake you are creating.
The chocolate egg is super easy to achieve, I show you how I temper chocolate (no need for a thermometer) so that it has a beautiful glossy finish and comes away from the mould with ease. As well as tips on getting rid of any air bubbles.
