There is electrician's tape, but I'm not sure that it matters for a project like this.

i want to make an adaptor from small headphones to big 6 mm jack :) am going to fuck my ears up or parhaps blow my amp but i am willing to try caz am lazy and dont want to go buy an adaptor so i could listen what notes am plaing on the guitar in relative silence
