This transformer has a cylindrical compartment on the side in which a high-voltage capacitor is installed, connected by one plate directly to the red high-voltage wire, and from the second plate the contact is brought out to one of the lower pins. Using a capacitance meter, you can calculate the pin to which this capacitor is connected and solder it to the common wire of the transformer. And then, instead of a continuous purple arc, separate long blue sparks will occur, accompanied by loud clicks, like a shocker.

It can run like that using simple 18650 li ion battery 2200mah ....dont need 12v supply at all....trust me I made it using it for my school project

You can do it like that just fine, but keep in mind that it draws a lot of current so you will need a beefy adapter. Good luck!

zvs driver better more current and more voltage if you want to build a zvs driver you well need a IRFP260n for the best results

nah that’s just 2000-4000v not 10000v. try a zvs driver for maximum voltage of the flyback.
