HOW TO MAKE HOMEMADE COCONUT MILK: Finding guar gum-free and carrageenan-free coconut milk can be difficult, and when you do find it, it can be expensive. Instead, make your own coconut milk! This way you can control what goes into it. In this video, I show you how to make your own homemade coconut milk.
This coconut milk is helpful if you're on the Autoimmune Paleo Protocol (AIP diet) because you cannot have coconut milk with any preservatives like guar gum, but also if you think guar gum or carrageenan cause you any issues like digestive upset or brain fog (which is quite common).
I even show you what to do with the pulp - to make a ricotta cheese-like substance that I like to snack on.
