Thank you!!! This is how my Mom made her soap when I was growing up back in Georgia, US. She mixed it in a big cast iron pot, and she cut it up into chunks and wrapped it in wax paper. Now I know where the recipe came from. Our history is very rich!

Palm KERNEL Oil is NOT the same as Palm oil. 2 very different oils (albethey from the same plant). He mentioned Palm KERNEL oil.

@@Catherine-mh8sw With pleasure. Palm KERNEL oil gives the soap cleansing properties while Palm oil does not. The latter is often used as a filler ingredient.

This soap isn't for skin and hands. Look for a soap recipe for that.
