Baking a sheet cake and cutting out the mini cake is brilliant! It keeps you from having to do math to figure out how to reduce the diameter. Thank you for this tip.

Amazing I’m going to create mini cakes. But how did you pick you just pick them up and put them on cake board in the fridge?

I chilled the cake layers before I assembled the cakes so they were sturdy enough to pick up :)
