Wow, Jerika! This was so inspiring and encouraging! I just started a candle business and have only been doing it for a month but am already disappointed and discouraged. Thank you for reminding me to be patient and show myself grace. I love that you used the metaphor of planting seed...as you can see my company name involves sowing seeds. It's been a good reminder to me that the day you plant the seed is not the day you reap the harvest! You've even inspired me to try making bath bombs :) I could be more grateful to follow you, your husband, and business. It has been such a joy to watch your videos. Dear Jerika, thank you for sharing your experience and reminded us the key is hard work and constancy. I have had hard time. I am trying to build my business in France, and I just see thousands of big walls in front of me. It is not easy to make a cosmetics legal business here. I thought that my talent and technical experience was all, but not, it is just the top of the iceberg. I need to invest a lot of money and time to break all those barriers, and people like you are really an inspiration for people like me, that discourage and hesitate from time to time.

I have been making an assortment of bath products for years and given them away as gifts and of course used them at our home. I started because I wanted a LUSH bath melt at 10pm and realized I had all the ingredients in my home. Now people are wanting to purchase my soaps. I am just starting to make soap. It's a lot of work but also a lot of fun! Thank you for your videos on how to! They have given me the knowledge and incentive to start making my own soap. I wanted to make my own to get away from store bought soap but the thought of being able to work for myself and not someone else is very exciting! Jerika, this video made me cry.. I have a small soap business but have been on pause because im takin care of our baby. But have gone through so much downs with my business. like moving countries to be one. It has become quite discouraging to have to learn a whole new culture and keep starting from scratch. I cant wait to finally Make my very own soaps I currently have my own business on homemade products, however my soaps are from used with base instead of full on natural,😒 but I soon will start due to not heaving enough room. I have about 2 months and its slowly increasing 😊. I get so many positive msg with how they like my body scrubs, hand soaps or body soaps, lib balms, bath salts. I have shipped out also and they like them :) but I still have a so much more to learn to expand my business.
