This is video #2 of my Napkin Card Tutorial videos. In this video I show how to make a basic napkin card using the adhesive sheet method.
SUPPLIES NEEDED:
Cardstock: BASE 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored at 4 1/4"
Cardstock: MAT - 4 1/8" x 5 3/8"
Cardstock: (white) FOR NAPKIN - 4" x 5 1/4"
Cardstock: Scrap for Sentiment
Sentiment Stamp of your choice
Adhesive Sheeting - 4 1/4" x 5 1/2"
Scissors and/or Paper Cutter
Embossing Folder and Die Cut Machine (optional)

I remember you showing using the saran wrap. For that same card I was making I actually used an air bubble my Amazon orders always have in the box. I just pricked it and it made the same kind of background as you showed us. Next time I go for my groceries I'm going to check the napkins again. I have some here but you showed a great variety the last time and gave me ideas. TFS, Nicole

OH I have a TON! I really got into them a few years ago...I have WAY too many and am getting rid of some of them, I will never be able to use them in a lifetime! Home Goods, TJ Maxx and sometimes Tuesday Morning are good places to look.

@@brendafertitta857 Years ago (+20 years), my husband and I watched someone do a demo with Mod Podge. She did her phone (rotary), her boots, some tables, etc. It was amazing. So I did a few things around the house and then tried it with napkins too and it worked. Then I saw the videos with complicated step-by-step (like the iron, saran wrap and plastic bags) and other ones with glue and sheets, like yours. People are always curious when you tell them the front of the card was a napkin in its previous life! LOL.

@@thepeddler9226 Yes, I have had people totally amazed and they cannot believe it is a napkin! And if I pick up a napkin at a party, I make a card out of it for the host! :)

When does one emboss it? After adhered to cardstock? Or emboss just napking itself before adhering?

How do you add a 3 or 4 line sentiment inside?

If you are asking about something you want to say that you don't have a stamp for, I would either print it out on the computer or hand write it, depending on who I was giving it to. Does that answer your question?

Whats the adhesive sheeting? Brand and where to purchase?

Hi! Adhesive sheeting is like double sided sticky tape but in a sheet instead of a strip. You can get them from Stampin' Up! of course (item #152334) and there are many other brands out there as well on crafting sides, Amazon, etc. What I used in my video is an off brand I have had for years. When I have used it up, I will start buying it from Stampin' Up.

@@brendafertitta857 Brenda, don't mind what she said. Some people want to comment that they are the first to comment on your video and want you to pin their comment so it's always at the top (so people can see they are the first to comment).
