I make mines with organic oatmeal and grinded into powder and added in the soap while it's melting ... I also add organic coconut oil and almond oil scent. For the color I prefer to use natural colors from flowers or fruits.

glycerin is an organic substance it’s only synthetic when you have petroleum as a foundation. Essential oils are natural . And you have harmless dye on the market as well.

You can lightly spray the bottom of containers/molds with rubbing alcohol so that the soap pops out easier - it also helps to remove surface bubbles once your soap is in your mold.

That's happen to me before. I think it's because the soap has gotten hot too quickly. I just skim it off the surface after pouring when that happens. Also, pour it close to container so less air is collected.

There is nothing wrong with MP soaps. There are some really good bases on the market these days. More natural ingredients, than before. I would be cautious about adding food items. You don't want mold or bacteria to form, esp due to water content. All melt and pour soap is glycerin soap. If you really want a more natural MP, make your own base. I think of MP as more of an art form, than soap making. There are some amazingly talented MP soapers. It takes patience, and lots of talent to make some of the beautiful creations. Ppl stop critising the video. I'm a seasoned soap maker, and I'm not here to criticize her..I would be cautious about calling it organic. You can buy organic bases, but not organic dyes. Try natural colorants. Also, you didn't spritz the top with alcohol, to reduce bubbles, after pouring.

This soap is beautiful and I imagine it smells delicious. I'm not sure whether I'm being a complete incompetent with this question but don't these natural ingredients clog up the drain or are we supposed to pick them out as they become loose. Are they just for aesthetics? I can't imagine it feeling too great to wash with these. Also, do they rot after a certainly amount of time?

So I can make soap without lye? Because the first beginner video I watched I was told I could go blind or some things If done wrong can be fatal or horrific...not really a great video for getting someone into soap making. It actually made me not want to do it anymore. I make candles and wax melts so I figured soap would be a great add to my line.

As an American who's lived in Australia and New Zealand and been around a lot of people from England, I just have to ask..... What on earth is your accent?? Have you lived in multiple countries and blended your accent or something?

Hi Lauren. I am Australian. Started traveling to multiple countries at at young age. Moved to America when I was 22. Work as a TV host on American shows that require me to soften my Aussie accent. My husband is American. That sums it up. It comes and goes - and honestly I'm just me, being me!

@@AtHomeWithDidiayerOfficialPage Nice! I was wondering if it was a blend 😊 I used to have a bit of a southern drawl being from Texas but my partner and his family are kiwis so now I have a mostly American sounding but occasionally kiwi sounding accent. It's interesting how it can change over time especially with certain words. Thank you for making this video and sharing 😉

Don't use your kitchen items to do this. Have separate containers and pots.

Um- everyone is making comments about how she sounds American and Australian...I get the same comment all the time as I grew up in Aus but live in America. It's annoying and nobody cares what she sounds like. Leave people alone. I'm not trying to be mean but it can be really offensive (I know first hand)

THANK YOU!!! I think I've addressed my accent more than soap making here! I moved here when I was 22 and married an American and work as a TV host, so my accent has soften. BUT, get me around a bunch of Aussie and a cold one and the good old accent is in rare foam. :)

Hey people here, don't criticize her accent..so what if her accent is not american? Your not the only people in the world just you know..and you know what? People in other part of the world when they heard americans they think white..so if your black they think your from.africa..if your asian, hespanic they think you are not american..so stop criticizing her or judge her..you have no right..and before you criticize her making soap too.watch other video they also order and cut and then make their own..just like her doing...

This is not making soap. You are buying soap. The soap base is just that....soap. You are just buying melt and pour soap base which is finished soap that you are just melting and adding ingredients. I make real soap and am searching for a recipe to make my own melt and pour and I keep hitting a wall.
