i'd love some examples of stating you intentions in less formal even social situations.

Hmm, I dive into these more deeply here: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/gbFpfrhqnMi0k5s.html but one example might be, "Hey, you all want to come over for dinner tonight, so that we can enjoy 3 hours with no phones and good people?" Being clear about intention involves a small level of social risk. But the benefit is almost always worth it because you invite EVERYBODY to be playing the same game-or opt out of the game altogether which is just as important.

Every single video of yours, I walk away with something new to think on. Yes! I struggle with stating my intention concisely when speaking in front of a group. I’m definitely going to be more intentional about asking “how” and “what” questions. Lots to think about here and how it applies to my youtube job as well as my role in my church. Reflective listening is difficult.

I think that sometimes we spend to much time and energy trying to please everyone (and... let´s face it: it is impossible!). We need to feel comfortable with what we do (giving our best) and keeping our own style ;). THANKS SO MUCH for a valuable video!
