Шуруповерты были еще раньше, только на ручной тяге со смычком, так что уймись, а то еще начнешь рассказывать, что ковать нужно только на дровах, чтобы аутентичность сохранить и никакой индукции!!! Сам то хоть молоток правильно держать умеешь?

@@fugiensmotors5199 Ну тут наверно просто показано, как это делалось раньше, что можно с успехом ковать цилиндрические детали. Плюс кованый метал имеет большую прочность, чем той же марки просто выточенный на станке. Ну и отходов нет. А так то по большому счету практичнее сделать это на токарном.

@@Akellaaaaaa В старые времена, кузнец брал клещами из горна раскалённый отрезок прутка, вставлял в специальную форму (оправку) и одним или двумя ударами молотка по заготовке, получалась заклепка. И всё. 🤠👉

Если это уже не единичное изделие, то приспособа нужна обязательно. Всегда так на производстве у нас было. Сейчас с годами понимаешь это. Сам процесс изготовления чего либо, пусть ручного, на станке, со стороны вызывает восхищение.

Почему одной? Как минимум с другой стороны ещё одна. А вообще, если заклёпки нужна одна, то её можно и без инструмента сделать? А, её можно купить в магазине

@@monkeygorilla6796спорить не буду, но у меня в гараже лежит самодельная матрица для заклёпок разного диаметра. Нарубил проволоки, вставил в нужное отверстие, бам-бам и готово.

Автору респект однозначно, а для тех кто не понял, этот способ использовался в средневековье не только для шлемовых изделий но и для крепежей к панцырю и датам и обычные тем более серийные заклёпки не подходили по механическим свойствам

I like how he uses traditional methods for the making and the more skilled portion and then uses modern tools for the tedious stuff that just takes forever like polishing. Seems smart to me.

If you have access to one of those 20cm (or bigger) hydraulic rebar cutters, you could take out the teeth and make dies of the rivet to speed up the process. The cutter itself is pretty fast both on the action and retract.
