sounds like a good way to go too. I have some more plans for these where I'm not positive that'd work though... still I'll keep that in mind for later when I want scifi roads

Ah thanks! That's pretty good info really. I did model the concrete barriers to be exact to scale, having the lines correct could really make things look good

@@QuiniansBudgetCrafts I did the same with my jersey barriers as well. Even so, IMHO true scale road marks just didn't look right with hot wheels. Possibly that's because hot wheels are just all over the place, scale wise. It's also possible that it has more to do with the reasons hot wheels aren't true scale to begin with. Certain things just look disproportionate when shrunk down too much. By way of example - With true 1/64th scale die cast cars, it's a common complaint that the tires/wheels seem too small and skinny. Hold it up next to a picture of the real thing and the tires are accurate, but that feeling is there nevertheless. Edit - This is just food for thought though! You do you. Worst case scenario - you try it and then just paint over them if you don't like it.

@@ColonelSandersLite ah yeah that makes sense. same with 3d, scaled down to 25/28mm things just look really weird. I prefer to hand do the lines so it looks less like ruined highway and more like same clown with a paint bucket went out there mad max style lol

thanks! This actually is pretty easy. I'm loving the gaslands builds, the scale is way easier and unless you're making like corporate HQ buildings, it's all supposed to be slightly off and messed up

I used my pinky finger as a guide. I kept it pressed against the side of the road and held the brush very still on my other fingers while making a clean sweeping motion . It's not perfect, you can see the lines are a bit closer to the center of the road in the middle of the section, but it kinda works

once you have a bunch of them together they don't tend to move from a bump lol not unles you have pieces hanging off the edge of the table

I'm also using a vinyl top card table which can be a bit grabby

@@OverboardDM lol yeah you could just scan in the template page and reduce by about half and print it like that. Same for the rest of the terrain, just scale it by about half. It doesn't need to be too exact
