I lived in shillong for 15 years and my neighbors use to give me the sel roti at some occasion (nepali festivals) I just love the sel roti & the gorkha chutney.

I've never had these before. When I clicked on the video, I thought they were onion rings 🤣🤣. It's amazing that you made your own rice flour will help these little sweet snacks stay crunchy longer. I love the sound of you mixing the sugar with ghee using your hand, it's very satisfying. I love that you made added the batter and shape them in the oil using your hand rather than a piping bag...that takes skills. The result of these look really crunchy and fun to eat, with a hint of banana flavor as you only added one banana so it's not overpowering. I wish I can grab some from your plate. I am wondering what the purpose of the metal thing inside the oil though, does it help with the frying cos I see it bubbling while frying. Thank you for sharing another fantastic recipe. 👍LIKE #146
