Cindy, you don’t need to create separate text blocks to move words around. Just choose “Ungroup to lines”! Thanks for the foil and vellum idea for my Cricut!

You can also use HTV onto card stock, I love using my scraps for stuff like this as I’ve never had a problem cutting fine letters on HTV.

I'll have to give HTV a go. I assume you just heat press it the same way you would with material? 💗🌷

@@_MyInkieFingers yes! I think usually a slightly lower temp. If you have a look at the heat press guide Cricut does it will give you a rough idea! It was an absolute game changer for me to use HTV on card stock

I've done a few cards using my Cricut Maker to cut the front message using cardstock. I didn't know about the Cricut adhesive foil!! Also, the idea of putting it on vellum. Such great ideas and tips!! I just ordered (a lot) of the foil from Cricut! You're such a bad, but really GOOD ;-), influence! LOL! Thanks so much for this video! Can't wait to try it!

Wowie! What great ideas you have shared!! Thank you so much for all your hard work and amazing samples/ideas you so freely share with us fellow "inkie fingers" ... love it!! I have been a cardmaker for 20+ years (first 15 was with SU!) and love it, but I am new to using my Cricut. I bought it mainly for the purpose of creating sentiments for my cards and to save on die purchases. I hadn't heard of Creative Fabrica either and will definitely look into this. Well, what do you know ... I didn't know about the "offset" feature or that there was even such a thing. I definitely need more hours in my day to create and practice more. I recently learned some about Character Map too and was introduced to "Character Map UWP" as an option. It shows the letters in a larger font size making it easier for me to see -- you might like it too. Greatly appreciate all your videos and am looking forward to learn more tips and tricks. How often do you change your cutting blade? It seems like we need to change often.

It depends on what I'm cutting really. IF you use the link I provided below for blades you will find that you don't get upst when changing them as they are sooooo inexpensive! Trust me, you'll love them 💗 (Same goes for the mats I linked) I love @HTVRONT!

I am new to using a cricut. Why aren't you using the embossing tool to press the foil straight onto the vellum and then the machine cuts it out there and then. Does the embossing foil only stick to paper? Am i not understanding how this works? Help.

This is like a thin foiled adhesive cardstock, different to the foil that using pressure to “draw” it onto stuff.

Now I know another reason NOT to have a cricut etc. I'll buy the dies and stamps. Easier, faster, and you don't waste money on fonts and spend 30+ minutes getting frustrated with programs and settings, and new vocabulary. Stamp cut and glue. That's my motto!
