This is adorable. I wish there were more tutorials for how to make bodies for all these felted pom pom heads. So many artists just making heads. I'm sure it's even harder than this, but I'm curious to see how a body would be made.

Can anyone explain to me how poking manages to achieve so many things with wool? Like it "hardens" it, and it allows you to "stick" it to other wool. Seems like magic to me.

How do u know at where the color of yarn changes on the pom pom to make the head and mouth? And at which point we know to change yarn colour for nose?
