Instate of using starting switch it is better to use running capacitor. It will also reduce current consumption. Will also provide smooth start.

Wish he’d freeze frame close up to see the actually wiring. My colours are very different. I’ve watched this several times and still cannot figure out the detail. Why can’t this be explained in plain language. Seems every damn thing has to have bloody music overlaid!

The colour of the wires doesnt make any difference, you can even use the same colour wire for all the connections, as long as live goes to the common N goes to run coil and switch/cap goes to start coil it will work
