Why mono when Stereo is away better?

If you want to make it mono, you can make a bridge between the second pins of the potentiometer. Other option(i’m not sure if it works) will be using a mono potentiometer in one of the pins L or R of the board then make a bridge between the pins L and R in the board. I’m not sure if some of that options is gonna increase the power in mono, but it will helo if you have only one speaker

Low volume is due to speakers being wired out of phase at 2:30 onwards. Green wires should both be wired to the same side of the speaker terminals. Both green wires can be wired to the left speaker terminals or both to the right hand speaker terminals. If green wires are wired to the left terminals the white wires should be wired to the opposite or right hand terminals. Both the negative [-] speaker output signal connections on the 8403 board are on the outside edge of the board. Wire both green wires to these connections and the white wires to the inside or [+] speaker connections. If the wires are wired in opposite phase to the speakers (the wrong way) the sound waves will cancel and sound output will be low and will sound bad.

@ Hello my friend. Any reputable capacitor, as long as it’s genuine, should be fine. Panasonic, Rubycon, Nichicon, Elna, etc. Have fun!

@ If you are looking for nice audio capacitor, try Nichicon FG. Further up would be Elna Silmic II hehehe. Any rating above 6.3V 470uF is fine.
