Una petición. ¿Puede usted hacer el mismo proyecto con un potenciómetro multivuelta de 10K y un módulo (voltímetro/amperímetro) que indique el voltaje y los amperios a la salida? Как просто сегодня удивить непросвещенную публику простым истоковым повторителем... Советские пионеры в радиокружках и не такое творили. ) Тут главное - напряжение затвор-исток не превысить, сдохнет моментально, нужен стабилитрон.

Soldering components into the pot rivets will eventually cause failure of the connection with the internal carbon track. The rivets make the connection between the metal terminals and the carbon composite track. Sorry but what you have made is a power potentiometer, not a regulated supply. If you load the motor down, the voltage across the motor will drop, a regulated supply will keep the output voltage constant up to what ever the MOSFET and heatsink can withstand.

Don't even try to. This is current regulator, not voltage regulator. Regulation of current is the principal function of transistors.

@@jarekferenc1149 Hm... really ?! I have tried five 6 ohms resistors in a row. Using the first, the tiny motor turns a little slower. But after the 5th (48 ohms) much slower. Mah? About 20 mah no mat- ter what. That is : The motor will not go for a longer time (a 600 mah bat- tery), just slower as wanted. Voltage ? Without anything 1,2 V (a rechageable battery) but conected to the 5th. resis- tor 0,75 V. Measured on the tiny motor itself. I am going to make a vid about my lighthouse project, so you can see it all for yourself.

@@petersoerent2554 So, as I understand, you use resistors in series with the load to limit the current used by the load. The method not necessarily called "regulation", but if it satisfies your needs, it is perfectly OK. However, going into an academic discussion, this is not the way to regulate the voltage. If you hook up the load and resistors in series to a voltage source of, say, 1.2 V, the voltage felt by the load depends on the load value. This voltage is just the product of load resistance and current. It is the result of how the circuit is made. Whereas, the voltage source should maintain its voltage regardless of the load. Even if the load is disconnected, the voltage should be the same. In your circuit, I reckon, this will not be the case: the voltage after the 5th resistor will be of 1.2 V if the circuit is open. But, the circuit is good if it meets all the expectations. I will gladly see your lighthouse working. Good luck with the work!

The resistors are just for fun. They are in parallel with the voltage divider (the potentiometer), so have no effect on the operation of the circuit.

Hier stimmt doch der Schaltplan und das gelötete Projekt nicht überein! Die 4 Stück 10k Widerstände liegen im Schaltplan zwischen dem Schleifkontakt und einem Ende der Kohlebahn des Potentiometers. Gelötet werden die 4 Widerstände im Video aber parallel zur Kohlebahn des Potentiometers...

There is no circuit diagram in this vid. There is only the soldered version. About these 4 resistors: yes, you are right. The have no impact on the circuit operation, because they are parallel to the voltage divider. Zafer is playing nasty tricks to us.
