Love it! Melt and pour is a SKILL!! I’m a cold process soaper, and I’m intimidated by M&P!! Love you say how to make soap without MIXING lye. Big distinguishing word, hope people don’t miss it 😉

Great to see she's thriving in soap! Been checking her out for few years already.I find her project's to be extra pleasing to the "eye balls" Some KZfaq's tend to hold back on their secrets but this one shares:) and that is very much appreciated.

Too much talk in the beginning. I wanted to know what she used instead of lye but she never got to it so I'll skip watching the video and find another tutorial. Hate tutorials when its not straight to the point. Creds for not using music tho, thats a good first step

This is beautiful! I really wanted to learn cold process but I live in a close quartered apt with animals so didn’t think mixing lye would be best..

Hello! Melt and pour is a great option if you don't want to mix lye, however, it does still contain lye.

Thanks for this video! What would be the average lifetime of the soap? and the soap base does not have lye?

Hey! A good shelf life for melt and pour soap is 6 month. It does have lye in it, the difference is you don't melt the lye, it's already done for you!

Hello! I’ve never had a bar melt before, but you could buy individual ice packs from uline to keep your package cool!

Yes , the bases contain lye. The videos are made with people that don’t want to mix it, in mind 😀.

There are several you can choose from, I personally use triple butter melt and pour from Stephenson :).

How much soap base did you measure to make the 6 bars?

I believe it was 24 ounces, I usually do 4 ounces per bar!

I use triple butter when making melt and pour. It’s Shea, cocoa and mango butter 😀

I've heard you can make soap with baking soda

That’s not soap but you can wash with it if you want. You can also make a Syndet bar soap with surfactants but technically that’s not soap either. They mean saponified oils is soap but it doesn’t really matter.

I’ve seen people talk about it but don’t think that’s the way I’d go. I read a few articles that say baking soda soap is great for washing clothes.. I would definitely need to do more research before suggesting it though!
