Love your hexagon patchwork. These covers turned out beautiful, as usual. What perfect timing as well. I just picked out some fabrics last night to make journal covers. These cards are marvelous. You have so many great techniques and ideas. Screw can be a verb and a noun and an adjective. To screw these sides together and i have found the right sized screw and I have been screwing these today. The word screw can be a colloquialism for messing things up or being a mess or making a mistake...I am screwed and I screwed that up. It can also mean the act of intercourse. Love how they turned out, but with my bad hands and bad eyes, all of which I've had surgery on in the past, no way I can do that small patchwork, lol. It's all good though, I love the idea, and can do something similar I think. Maybe like how you make a log cabin quilt, I've made those on the sewing machine before, so can just do a smaller rectangle or even a square on the machine, that should work. Thanks so much for another great idea Dragana, looks like I missed one of your flip throughs, so off to watch now, enjoy your evening/day, I never know what time it is there, lol. 💜💜💜

Thanks so much Carol! Glad you enjoyed the video. I decided to use patchwork pieces because I already had them for a while, but anything can be used to decorate the front. I also made a few with nothing but patterned fabric, and they look nice, too. ❤️😊

HEXIES! Create and Craft with Christine is making a fabric 'house' (box) right now with hexies and scallops, using the same EPP plastic templates that I have, too. Love your covers!

This reminds me of yoyo's..... also I thought I'd sew them together in a straight line and make a belt n my mind went waaay back to the belts we made from chewing gum wrappers! WOW....haven't thought about that since forever

These are really lovely covers! I liked the plain purple one best, then I loved the one with the silky stripey tie, then loved the pink & grey, then thought the burgundy & grey one with a black frame was the best then realised they’re just all so beautiful, it’s impossible to choose. Lots of hard work but gorgeous
