Hi, I made a gelli plate and after one use it kinda melted. So I melted it, strained it added more gelatine and then actually got about 6 prints out of it. When I started using it, it was still cool from the fridge. Then it broke down again. Layers of it were coming off with the paper......it's about 82 degrees in my art room, warm but I didn't think hot. If there's help out there, I'd sure like to save it. Thanks so much!

I don't understand. A journal is usually a place to write and work through our thoughts, our lives and to find meaning. Why would I treat my journal as another commodity, just a commercialized book of buy, buy, buy more? Should absolutely every area of life be invaded by business and advertising? Is it a European thing? It's horrific.

Oh this is perfect! I've just bought myself a brand new computerised sewing machine and matching overlocker (serger) as I've started to make clothing for myself. I've been sewing all my life, craft things, home decor, gifts, bags, bedding and curtains etc, but not clothes until very recently. I'm very much making up styles myself, going by my shape and measurements rather than using bought patterns, and I've also recently bought a TON of fabrics...enough to make at least 50 pieces of clothing. These pages are literally something I thought of for myself to keep track of items I make, and may want to make again in another fabric, but you've done the hard work for me! Thank you! 😁 Your fun imaginary pages look so good. I just love to watch you working whilst muttering gently in whispers as you think out loud. If you have the best group of followers, then don't forget you are the common denominator that drew us all in... AND what held us captive, eager to see more of you. You are our "Queen of Charms" and give us so much anyway with your ideas and tutorials, so these freebies are very much the bonus cherry on top of an already mouthwatering cake! Thank you! I have wondered about using migrants with paper. Have you tried alum, which is used when dyeing fabric? Also, I do not have a grapevine and the supermarket only has the light reddish grapes, so do you think commercially produced grape juice would work? Thank you, again!😊
