The Lovely Clinic's main lady Dr. Sarah Tonks is joined today by Dr. Vidhi Patel 💕 Dr. Patel is a homeopath, doctor, and nutritionist who works with Gold Collagen - and today she's sharing with us the secret to the perfect turmeric latte.
A turmeric latte is a delicious alternative to coffee, and makes the perfect afternoon pick-me-up if you need a boost… It was a common beverage in the east for many years before it became so popular in the west.
⏱ Prep time (ready in 5-7 minutes) ⏱
☕️ Ingredients: ☕️
- 1 cup or 250ml - milk of your choice (almond, coconut, dairy milk etc.)
- 1 teaspoon - finely chopped fresh or dried turmeric powder (preferably organic)
- 1 tablespoon - honey, or more or less to taste (Manuka honey is best)
✋ Method:✋
- Warm your chosen milk in a small pan until just before boiling point.
- Stir in all the remaining ingredients, adding more or less honey depending on taste.
- Let is cool down for about a minute and then Pour the contents of pan into a blender and blitz until you have a nice froth on top of the milk.
- Pour into a cup and serve with some cinnamon drizzle on top. Enjoy it while it is warm for best results and great taste.
