HOW TO MAKE THE BEST HAITIAN EGGS AND PLANTAINS || HOW TO MAKE HAITIAN BREAKFAST||
SIDE NOTE: The eggs can be served with Haitian bread or slice bread instead of plantains.
-PLANTAINS
2 green plantains
8 cups of water
1 tablespoon and 1 teaspoon of salt
1 lime wedge
-VEGGIES
Medium hi heat 6
A half of a half of Belle peppers (all colors)
1 half of a medium sized onion
1 half of a tomato
-MEAT
2 hot dogs
3 to 4 inches of sausage (I used beef smoked sausage Hillshire Farm)
-EGGS
8 eggs
1 cube of chicken flavor bullion Maggie
1 teaspoon of lime juice
1 tablespoon of epis (Epis recipe • THE BEST HAITIAN EPIS ... )
1 thyme (remove the stem)
1 tablespoon of MatouR’s Calypso Sauce Salsa calypso (optional ) ⭐️you can find it at Publix or a Caribbean store or you can add a half of a diced up bonnet pepper⭐️
1 tablespoon of salted butter
-COOKING EGGS
Heat at 6/7
1 tablespoon of oil
Add hot dogs (let cook)
Add veggies (let cook)
Add eggs (let cook and get some color)
-GARNISH
Parsley
Orange slice

Did you fry the plantains or just cut them up after you boiled them

No you don’t fry it after you boil it. You eat it boiled, or fry it but not both. I hope that helps
