I’m so scared tomorrow we have mock tryouts and then Friday we have the real tryouts I’m so scared because every one is so good and I have been dancing for 3 years this really help I’ll update hopefully I make it lol

Great video ! Very helpful. One thing I want to point out. If a person is thinking about trying out for Drill Team/ dance . I say start working out before & watching videos . This would give a person an edge on making it . I’ve thought about trying out Myself although I’ve never done it .dance experience can be a plus .

Tysm!! I’m going to be a freshman next year and I’m auditioning for the JV drill team! I’m super nervous because I don’t have as much dance experience as other people auditioning but I hope I can make it!

Hi Angelica, love your video!! I’m considering auditioning for my schools drill team but it would be my first year ever dancing for school. Do you need to have experience to audition for drill team? Or as long as you can do the techniques? I’m really considering it but i want to make sure im even eligible to audition!

Hi! It would help if you have a little experience before you try out. If you can it would be great to try and squeeze in one or two classes before your tryouts! But remember to be confident at your tryouts, and ask questions!

@@laurenking9906 Hiii! I'm Sabrina, and I have drill team tryouts in two or three weeks. It is also my first year dancing for school, but I have danced at a studio for a while. It really helps to have experience, but if you don't, then check with your dance department what skills are required for drill team, and practice them. Stretch a lot. I hope you have a wonderful tryout!!!💗

Hey!! Really focus on stretching every day with a routine like in this video. You’re gonna need that flexibility. Also check out Becky’s dance studio and Mrs. Sara Wilson’s classes!

hi! im hoping to try out for the JV drill team for my high school for freshman year. tryouts are 13 days away, and I have little to no experience with stretching or splits. any advice? :)

I used to dance and do gymnastics but stopped when I was 7. Do you think that with enough hard work at home I can make it on the drill team next year? Also any tips for my situation??

Not sure! I think you're going to have to do some work on your musicality, technique, flexibility & on picking up choreo! Look up online combos to learn!
