Chord progression he says everyone uses is D#min -> D#sus2 The Suspended chords always add tons of emotion. In the case of major suspended chords, they are extra happy In the case of minor suspended chords, they are extra dissonant/scary

suspended chords dont have major or minor qualities

The best scale for these types of beats is the harmonic minor scale especially the C min harmonic

Would love to see you make a beat rather than showing us finished products… I feel like showing us the process you use to create a beat would benefit those less experienced and allow your viewers, future clients, and friends an opportunity to see your technique.
