@Thepianofreak17 Great question. Please look at the video called easy dissembly. You can find it on the cakestackers com page marked instructions. You simply lift the cake off and cut. You don't have to dig out wooden dowels, it's easy:) Thank you for your comment ~ Steph

Quick question. I am doing a cake similar to this one as far as the upside down method using the cake stacker system and I was wondering how was traveling with a cake like this? Did you assemble before going on site or did you restack once you were there.

I would like to order this stand but a bit smaller. I'd like to know what the huge square plate all the way at the bottom is called... the one that makes sure the whole thing stays standing. If i understand it correctly you actually need 4 plates for a 3 tiered upside down cake, is that correct? I need 8" 10" and 12" plates and one really large one on the bottom to keep it all standing. Is there a set that comes that way or do i need to order each piece seperately???? How fast can i get it?
