It's actually pretty easy to make keto condensed milk. Take an even mix of heavy cream and almond milk, and add 2 parts powdered sweetener(i use stevia) to 3 parts milk. You simmer it uncovered on medium heat, stirring frequently until the volume is reduced by half. Leave to cool and thicken, and there u have keto condensed milk for your egg coffee

Thank you thank you thank you! I drink Vietnamese coffee fairly often whenever I'm in the right area of Melbourne ("little Vietnam") and I absolutely love it! I tried to replicate this with just condensed milk as I didn't realise the whipped egg yolk was the key... I'm so excited to try this again!

Yeah so their normal coffee is just condensed milk. The hot version is condensed milk in the cup and the coffee drips on top of that. This one the key is the egg

I've seen other egg coffee recipes before and always wondered where the idea came from. Perhaps it's a Thai recipe, first? ...something you may want to try, I know you drink a lot of coffee. I brew my French Press coffee and espresso with salt. I find it elevates the flavor and changes the mouth-feel. Call me crazy but I think makes it more unctuous. Either a 16 oz cup of coffee or a double shot of espresso gets a 1/8 tsp of sea salt.

Yes that is a Cafe Sua Da and it's DELICIOUS!! You can basically have it hot or cold, actually that's an option with all their coffee.

Not done a beef curry yet but you can use my creamy chicken curry recipe and sub it with beef or even the coconut mutton curry and use beef instead, no problemo.

Hema Nair Besides Amazon, if you have an Asian grocery store near you check there. You can find all sorts of cool home goods. I'm partial to Cafe du Monde coffee, which is used in just about every Vietnamese restaurant I've been to. Seems easy to find in store all over Texas, and I'm sure in Louisiana where it's from, but I can't speak for the rest of the country.

I think it should be ok, I'm not sure if you will get a sweet mayo at the end of not :D but drink it once my way and then try with the MTC oil and see if ti works, then we got a nice fat bomb in there :D

Our heavy cream and heavy whipping cream is much thinner than yours is :( I have wondered if using sour cream would work out..probably not tho..I think we would have to simmer the heavy whipping cream for a long time to get the right consistency and sweeten it up with our stevia or sucrolose drops

Sour cream would just taste wrong. What you can do is actually whip the cream and use it.

yeah I think you can do that an manage with it :) use it like a spice, like ground cumin or tumeric etc. should work.

Can I DIY espresso at home without any fancy equipment? Can I use really strong brewed or cold brewed coffee instead? I really want to make this happen and I'm all for trying to make espresso.

Yes you can do that no problem. Basically any strong coffee will work. about 60ml really concentrated.

I made mine...the non keto version with Condensed milk...but the cream was runny!! n it mixed with the coffee...it tasted good though..where did I go wrong??

I'm not sure, 1 tablespoon sweetened condensed milk, 1 egg yolk and the vanilla, beat for 3-4 minutes till it turns pale in colour. Maybe it has something to do with the density of the coffee itself.

I've been eating them for years and never had a problem. If you are a bit worried you can always just drop your eggs in 60C water for 3 minutes to pasteurize them. Should sort out all your worries.
