Hardtop Harry when you turn off, the tail pulls the wheel left and away from the wind, and on top of that,a friction brake locks the wheel hub.

Wow what a negative comment. use your imagination. they're all around your place from magazines, plastic bottles to the bicycle wheels. Why do you have to buy a complete kit for everything, try figuring it out and improvise the skills.

Is this a dumb question? Why cant these windmills be adapted to work as wind turbines to generate electricity? Seems like a much more atrractive design than the huge modern turbines.

Princess Villanueva it is best to buy the mechenisms pump and geering only then go to the local steel shop for the stand mounts, blades, and pipe!! 36% import tax in the philippines with 50% theft at the port means 100% insurance as well for imports there! A 100 dollar item can cost 75 dollars shipping and 136 for ins and tax total cost 311 dollars thats 5000 peso item actually costing 15,550 peso added you will need to get the shipment in manila shipping port round trip from porto princesa 3,000 peso! Not a very nice country but very beautiful people!

Open your eyes, and look again at the video. The name of the company is seen written on the widmills at least 2 times...look at 4:09. A clue they have an article on Wikipedia.
