Your better off buying a 150cc from factory probably cheaper then to build a 49cc. The only reason I would think someone would pay to modify a 49cc Chinese scooter is maybe for lower insurance or to avoid having to get a motorcycle endorsement on their license

I have a TaoTao VIP Future Champion that’s a 82cc it was registered and vinned as a 50cc apparently the guy I bought it from before got it as an 82cc but it was registered as a 50cc as part of the title and everything it was a private seller. It runs really good at first when it was having overheating problems I thought it had something to deal with the carburetor because at that time I didn’t know it was an 82cc but turns out I was right I needed to up-jet my carburetor to a CVK carburetor and I had already installed a high performance exhaust system. After I had it in by a dealership they said it looked to be board out or could have came that way from the factory but my question is if it came board out from the factory as an 82cc from what the dealership I brought it to said it could be either a 72cc or 82cc but for the power I have I am for sure thinking it’s a 82cc I am asking how many miles should I expect to get out of this moped I am very careful with it I don’t push it to the maximum power unless I am in a hurry to get some place or if I’m late for work I usually always give it 10 minutes to warm up in the morning and that’s more time than I need to give it to warm up just because I want to make sure everything is warmed up all the way before I lay on the throttle all the way. I change my oil every 1,000 mile like the dealership recommends and I change my gear oil out every 1,000 miles.

Don't modify your moped. The breaks are meant to be able to stop a certain speed but when you modify the moped the breaks won't help

I put a 100cc big bore kit on a 49cc scooter and it could blow both of those away, I have had mine up to almost 70 mph with my son behind me in a car clocking my speed, I don't see how that is 150cc unless it's just a weak 150cc.

ALL VIP are 150cc and will do 55+MPH stock. Just search TaoTao Powermax 150. I'm not sure what is being claimed here. The "beast" always seems to be hidden behind the VIP 150cc. I'll be moving on from here and not feeling comfortable about this video. There are great kits out there.

J can you please help me bro...my 50 cc I bought brand new...I have 300 miles on it and it starts fine but when I give it gas, it won't move. Guy at kragen told me I have to change oil and gear oil but it might be too late...I was driving and the wheel stopped turning when I was giving it gas...it like redlines but won't go into gear.

Hey friend my name is Mike I have a 2020 wolf blaze and sometimes it will do 45 going down a small hill when I'm riding I know it has a governor on the bike but I don't want to mess with that so I was wondering wherever you guys are can can I order the parts from you guys you know and I can just bring it to like a place around here or a place in Plymouth and I can have them install it for me because I'm not too good with taking bikes apart engines and stuff you know what I mean and I just got the scooter I did a little bit of research they said it does 30 plus and then they added eight plus more to the scooter so sometimes it doesn't do that you know it has a safety feature I had them take it off and it was on the kickstand now my bike makes a Ting sound every time I start it up but I do know somebody did some modifications to the bike because there's carburetors inside my bike and I had the additionally put new parts even though that there was already new parts put to the bike because the bike wouldn't stay running but I got that fix it runs it sounds like a spaceship man it's awesome but I just would like it to go faster than what it is and I'll be more comfortable thank you can you please get back to me you can call me if you like number is 774-360-4842 and the name is Michael wright and hope to hear from you guys soon thank you.

My step-daughters 100cc Peugeot scooter runs to over 60 mph completely standard with no mods or tuning! So where's this "faster than a 150cc scooter" then? over here, (UK), most 150cc scooters will do at least 80 mph, standard.

I just did a 5000 mile overhaul if you will on my red and silver, which I painted, olive drab, and charcoal grey, btw, Baodiao VIP 50CC, YEAR MODEL 2020,, I put in a new plug,new belt,new clutch, and I bought an Orange High Performance cdi box,which I swapped for original on bike, replaced fuel filter, petcock and put on new fuel lines and vacuum hoses, and made sure the connection to vaccum was clamped, drained gas while i had the chance,filtered what was in tank and put it back in bought sea foam put that in tank and topped off with Shell vtech super premium, last time I was clocked by stationary radar, your speed signs that show your speed that the cops put out in my city I was clocked at 41 mph, I dont know what else i should buy to get my scooter up to snuff and faster than factory but that video of yours didnt show me either, Thanks For ,the scooter drag race but that didnt show me or anyone nothing. 😢😮😊😅😂

I have to say, I was thinking of upgrades for my 2016 Tao tao. I just bought it brand new. Now mine is totally stock from the dealer nothing has been done to it. I am 216 pounds and it will pull hills at 40 to 45 and I have had it a little over 50 mph on flat ground. So I am not sure if I want to do upgrade or just leave well enough alone.

My peugeot vclic 49 cc 4 stroke can be quiker than that 100 cc of yours whit minor few adjustments that buy the way is so much cheaper than puting a big bore kit on it and than its also a dutch scooter that limitet to 30 km/h thats about 20 mph and when i remove that limiter which is easy it goes 60 km/h thats about 40mph and thats whitout some other adjustments when i dit the other adjustments it goes like hel and wil do around 70 km/h thats about 50 then ui only need 2/3 performance parts pointy crank chaft biger variateur and last but not least one size biger carberator and you whit youre 100 cc wil never catch up whit me

If you're going to do this, why not just *accidentally* misinterpret the displacement in cc for displacement in ci on the registration form. This is 'merica, we use cubic inches here. 49-50ci gives you an 800cc bike. Problem solved.
