I seen a disc plow with a 4" tall ring of 1/4" steel welded around the edge ,I think you have to heat up the steel if you want the welds to hold up.

Awesome video papa! I was planning on making some of these. My dad goes to auctions in Kansas and he says they have the discs all the time, so he said he would pick some up for me. By the way I ordered my gas bottle and it will be here Friday! So I will be able to start making pretty welds!

Wow, was dumbfounded for a few moments [city-slicker mind set], then had a V-8 moment. 'Plow Disc', was briefly construing Snow Plow, and not agricultural field plow. Happy Thanksgiving Papa to you and yours. We all have much in being thankful.

I got a mini skillet version of the Plow Disc that I will upload in a couple of days...It's part of my JunkYard Bushcraft Series that I am doing...I hope you like it...because I'm shoutin' you out in it...lol.

It is either a 22" or 24". Not turkey fryer size, not deep enough!

Awesome, I graduated from Ennis, lived in Kerens, worked in Corsicana, lived in Rice then moved back home to TN. All together I was in TX for 28 yrs. & once you give TX a chance it will always be home.
