Majkl shows in this video how to make a sourdough started, a recipe that is with his family for 150 years!!!
He then uses the started to make two types of breads:
1. Sourdough bread make from wheat flour
2. Rye bread with caraway seeds, made with Majkl's sourdough starter
The recipe is very easy, and you will need for 1 loaf of bread:
400 g flour (can be all wheat flour, or half wheat half rye, or half wheat half spelt, or other combination that you prefer).
200 g of sourdough starter
230 ml of water
5 g of salt (in video, I show wrong value 10g of salt)
Bake at 220°C for 30 minutes.
You can add to the dough your favorite seeds to make your bread special.
