Dude, I have watched several of your vids and I have to tell you how refreshing it is to see a young, talented, dedicated brother share his experiences and gifts in such an enthusiastic way. I'm an old head but I really enjoy how you present your material and impressive gear with all of us. Keep doing what you do and encouraging others to do their thing in a positive way. God bless you my brother.

Some great tips there. To add to why the tweeter on your monitors should be at ear height, one of the main reason is because high frequency sound waves travel more so in straight lines, so you need the tweeter pointed at your ears to hear them properly. Where as low and low mid frequencies travel in all directions at the same time. This is why for instance, you can place a sub nearly anywhere in a room, and it can still sound like the low bass is coming from your main monitors in front of you.

Great tips!!! I may have missed these but you may want to add an acoustic cloud above you. Especially if you have hard floors. Wouldn't hurt to cover the floor either. If you're working on your mix I'd also recommend not having anything around your reference monitors. You may get reflections. Definitely not another speaker. You may get artifacts from passively moving it's woofer. While you may not be using them it was nice seeing the KRKs. Was their design engineer from 1992 to 2010.

Thanks so much for being knowledgeable and presenting yourself professionally...respect. Appreciate the quick triangle discussion...Question: in regards to this...if I am the center point of the triangle, and I have a wall behind me, what kind of treatment do you suggest for the reflective sounds coming from behind me?

Freakin Nice Dude!!!..I'm not on that level when it comes to studio monitors..however I do have a pair of Edifiers with a sub connected to a sound blaster high end and man this set up will blow most systems away, Thats on my studio system, In my office I have Boston acuostics that's over 15yrs old in my upstairs office this system will blow away many systems.. ...it's a 4.1 that is unbelievable.. so that's me braggin.. any way I like your set up.. I'll send you a pic of both my systems

Thanks for the video, I'm not a professional anything but I got a pair of presonus E3.5's the other day for my laptop, I definitely wont be able to get those acoustic stands however I'm looking at getting an audio interface so I can utilize the full sound of my monitors. I am using an aux cable right now, would an audio amplifier make a significant difference in sound quality? I would use it to use better cables (TRS). Thanks.
