I was thinking about your car or a sport touring 11th gen civic for 2 years. I got the civic in the middle of last Dec and I thought I made a mistake with getting a stick. Having to go to work and wanting to visit my girl and best friend in another state forced me to get better and now I can go anywhere pretty much now. I too am still stalling till this day. My girl got in the hospital which really gave me alotta courage to drive to her state for the first time with just 2 weeks of practice. I took her home and got back to go to work the next day. I not only wish I got more practice but I also wish there were more tutorials for manual driving for my car specifically.

Stalling did cause me to think I’d never learn this either. Especially when I stalled in the middle of moving traffic 4 times now. Each time pissed me off bc I could’ve been unlucky each of those times but I gotta keep it pushing.

@logankimp5563 Still got a great car to learn how to drive a manual car. Welcome to the Honda family! The motivation right there with your girlfriend, best friend, and work helps a bunch to properly learn. Stalling, even though annoying, definitely helps as well as you learn from your mistakes. Nothing but progress and getting it down with one of the best and reliable manual transmission vehicles ever built
